Andrea N. Catalina, Esq.,
has dedicated her career to the practice of matrimonial and family law matters, including custody and child support matters, as well as criminal defense, real estate transactions and representing landlords in landlord/tenant disputes.
Andrea has represented litigants throughout several counties, including Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Bronx and Manhattan in both Family and Supreme Court. She provides thoughtful and thorough representation to every client while striving for amicable and fair resolutions of all matters. While she is compassionate and patient, should negotiations fail to produce a fair result, she is ready and able to litigate a variety of issues in an effort to protect the interests of her clients.
This Firm is a family-based team specializing in helping other families through all different types of issues. Andrea strives to be the attorney your family calls when they have a child who just got arrested for the first time or when you're ready to buy or sell your first home. From custody issues to trying to evict that pesky tenant, she is here and happy to help with it all!
Prior to starting her own Firm, Andrea began her legal career working as an Associate at a mid-sized firm in White Plains where she represented clients on a variety of issues involving matrimonial, family, custody, support, personal injury and criminal matters. In 2012, Andrea joined her father, Frank A. Catalina, Esq., in Peekskill, New York. Shortly thereafter, she started her own practice, while remaining “of counsel” to Frank, who has over thirty years of experience in the same practice areas.
Andrea is a proud graduate of Pace University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. While in college, Andrea spent a semester traveling abroad to Spain and is conversant in Spanish.
Andrea is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. The main law office is in Peekskill, New York, but she also maintains satellite offices in Monroe and White Plains, New York (by appointment only). She is also a member of the New York City and Westchester County Bar Associations.
